Is it possible to complete the National Pokédex with only X and Y versions? If not, what Pokémon games would I need to really catch them all?

    You can trade online for the ones you can't catch. Getting either Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire should really help with the Hoenn pokemon. Heart Gold or Soul Silver, And Black or White 1 and 2 and Pokemon Bank.
