Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has 86 monsters. That's five more monsters than Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. I hope it is better than Freedom Unite because MHFU is the best in the series so far. Happy Hunting!

    At least, that's how many have been revealed so far. We still don't know if there's going to be anything like a completely new Elder Dragon, more returning Elder Dragons, or a subspecies for Gore Magala or Shagaru Magara. And we also don't know ALL the returning monster that weren't in MH4.

    I wouldn't say freedom unite is the best of the series at least not 2 me even tho it has the most content (until 4G arrives) but imo it's mh4 and ik the expansion is gonna be even better. Freedom unite is still a very fun game 2 play but it's so dated now and nowhere nearly as fun 2 play as 3rd and 4th gen imo due 2 their gameplay being vastly more improved.
