    Thanks for the correction. I always type the buttons wrong. But don't forget to stop before the big attack. The best combo uses only very fast attacks to increase DPS.

    Actually, it should be R+X, X, X, A, A stop. It starts with the rising slash from the shield stance, not with the jump. The jump takes longer to execute and it's not a big damage increase over the shield slash.

    i do it all the time without stopping, and i've learned to do it without breaking in the middle. i beat goldbeard ceadeus that way.

    umm... sword shield doesn't have a rising slash. R is the run/block button, even with a slash it prefer X+A XXX AAA

    To be honest, watched a guy doing in a video and then I tried both and compared results. Stopping before the last long hit and starting with a shield slash was the most effective on my solo times. I've been beating my longsword times with sns since I changed.

    R+X does a rising slash from the shield stance. I know it's weird at first, but it's a very fast and high damaging attack. SNS users should always use it.

    Ceadeus may not be a good target because most of your combo misses because of his body moves, so the jump forward in the first attack and the step forward in the last attack will actually help to stay in reach.
