Hi folks! Question: Is it possible, to play Majoras Mask on the Wii U (Virtual Console)? Or can I only play it on the Wii?

    Unfortunately, only Wii at the moment...N64 games haven't been added to Wii U (and at this point, I don't think they ever will)

    Thanks for the answer bro :) I just checked somewhere else, and it's possible to go into the Wii Menue on the Wii U, and there in in Wii Shopping Channel and download Zelda:MM over there. But unfortunately you can only use the Wii controllers...

    Ah and btw. Nintendo announced that N64 games will be comming too Wii U at some point. But nobody knows when o.O

    Nintendo announced both Gamecube and N64 games when the Wii U was first announced...I think the poor install base of Wii U is what is stopping them from doing it.

    Well, they just need to find the right time to do that.... It really shouldn't be difficult to put N64 games on the Wii U VC (Cause the Wii also has them). And I believe that Gamecube VC will come in winter, with Smash Bros. for Wii U, because of the Gamecube Adapter :D

    I kinda agree, I know for a fact putting the N64 games on the Wii U virtual console wouldn't be hard...The Wii U has a Gamecube disk drive (because the Wii and GC use the same type of lens) but the feature is locked.

    Does that mean they will need to re-code the virtual console games that they put on the wii u? So they can make them run on the wii u software. Sorry if i don't make any sense i don't know much about this stuff. :)
