    The water reconducts the electricity back directly to the monster and I know of no electric that are weak to water.

    I used to compare the MH3U element weaknesses to the pokemon type weaknesses. Now i still dont know why fire weapons are strong against water typed monsters.

    Tho i suppose u can count volvidion as 1 being weak 2 water but it's more accustomed 2 hot and dry areas 4 it's reason being weak 2 water despite it havin some electrical power. Khezu is another one that's weak 2 water and it IS an electrical monster but it's on a different mh game tho. Lol ya a lot of rpg's elemental logic is crazy.
