First time going against Zinogre! Does anyone have any tips on how to kill him before I join the fray?

    Zinogre will charge itself up every so often if it has less than full charge, and has two levels of charge. Zinogre is rather sluggish when uncharged, but it gets faster and stronger with each level of charge. You can interrupt the charge, but it'll eventually get fully charged. Enough damage will break the charge and reset Zin to its uncharged state, however. Also, Zinogre's weak to Ice.

    Just dodge and attack its sides also careful when it rages it move a lot. fast weapons are a plus.

    Break his horns then his claws then his back spikes. Also if you want his special thunder bugs take a bug net and net his back when he falls over.

    Should also mention Zinogre is also almost as weak to Water. Ice only wins out as the best weakness since it's slightly better than Water on the legs and tail.

    I used Aelucanth armor with ThunderRes gems and a ThunderRes talisman. I also used a rimeblossom. Dont use what i used. Never use shocktraps. He charges up in them. Uh... As long as you have good armor take all the hits you can land when hes charging. Its worth it. Jaspers are very rare. You need two to make the whole set. Dont get mad when you need 1 or 2 jaspers and the game wont give them to yo
