So with capcom selling more than 50% of their shares the MH ip could change hands. Anyone have a dream company they'd like to aquire MH? I could see sony buying it.

    I wouldn't mind sony taking it back again cuz then no more region lock! And i'll be able 2 buy any new japanese mh games of the main series without having 2 get their systems lol. But honestly i love it with nintendo as well.

    Well, Namco Bandai has Gods Eater and Sega has Phantasy Star. Monster Hunter could go to either of them. Just hope it doesn't go to Square Enix or else the series will jump the shark somewhere between taking itself too seriously to the point where you don't recognize the game anymore and replacing ALL the cats with Moogles.

    Mh wasn't bad with sony imo the controls were fine. And i could care less bout portable 3rd besides u can still get it since sony isn't region locked and there's an english patch. Whether it stayed with sony or not it didn't matter 2 me it's more of the same with any company. Tho i suppose now it's selling a lot more with nintendo.

    If MH4U is a big success, Capcom might keep the franchise. If it's a flop, the price goes down and the bigger companies won't have a reason to buy it, but smaller companies who might do something new with the series could afford it. If they sell it at moderate success... We might see "Monster Hunter Racing."
