    what exactly do you mean? you can find QR codes all over the internet, but if you're talking about getting the QR reader...you have to talk to Sable every day for 10 days straight and then she'll bring in the 'sewing machine' which is the QR reader c: i hope that helps! ^_^

    Basically what Chey said, but also it's pretty hard to scan QR codes. Don't just focus it on the black and white part, there is a brownish colored outline with stitches around the QR code. Move the purple scanner around that, and it should scan.
