Ahhh... Thank you Jeremy! A bit of relief to be hit a little. Not getting hit at all would be increadibly hard for me, so I'm glad there's a little leeway in being able to take a shell or two.

My brother seemed to have the most trouble on 150CC Leaf Cup... it took him a whole year to complete that cup alone. But everything else seemed fairly easy.

I can imagine 150CC putting up a fight. I'm trying to get Mirror Mode done first as far as stars are concerned... But the computer players are suprisenly resilient! A far cry from MKDS's easy computer drivers! Glad your bro finally finished it though... Probably will take me a couple years to get around finishing it all! X)

It's a shame MK8 is much MUCH easier... instead of requiring skill and coins to get the 3 stars, you only have to get in first place in all of the races... which is fairly easy considering the CPUs are pretty easy to beat.

Hmmm... I didn't know MK8 was easier. I wouldn't know since I don't own it! X) But It does sound more doable for me, as one wouldn't have be as percise in each race. Makes sense since I heard in reviews that one your in first place, it's not too difficult to keep it.

In all honesty, if you get a Wii U, I wouldn't recommend MK8. It feels like a remake of MK7, with worse characters. But this is my opinion, and considering that most people out there like it, you'll probably enjoy it too. I just didn't find any fun in MK8 at all.

Sorry to hear it didn't fare well with you, but I'm glad you got to try it out. Someday when I get a WiiU, I'll give it a spin if it's on sale or on for the cheap. But otherwise that, I'll take your word for it. MK7 suits me well right now anyways!

Yeah, MK7 also strangely has better online than MK8. It might be my internet connection, but the MK8 servers always disconnect on me.

Speaking of MK8, I find it a bit annoying. Its fun n' all, but Green Shells now become a big enemy. GSs are WAY TO ACURATE!!!!!! You can get sniped by one all the way from 5th place! Plus, Blue Shells go across the ground so...... Shells, are your worst nightmare in MK8. Plus anything higher than 50cc makes CPUs really stubborn if the aren't already for you........

I heard that in a review as well. I get lucky every now and than with nailing someone from afar with a green shell in MK7. It seems that's more of a constant in MK8. I don't like how the blue shell travels on the ground too, as I'm always getting hit by it as it speeds to the 1st racer. MK8 definitly sounds like the regular shells are far more dangerous than before... A nightmare indeed! :O

Another problem is: You can get combo'd by items which can cost you the race. And another one is because of MK7. Getting shot down in midair while gliding can also cost you the race!

I think that Mario Kart 8 purposefully didn't put a huge focus on the unlockables. I unlocked everything in the first week. Mario Kart 8 is really about the graphics and super high speed competetive racing.

I dont care about the unlockables. I thought the purpose of Mario Kart was to create "Fast Maril fun for everyone!" Speaking of unlockables: Its unfair how one character can be faster than the other! I'm usually Toad, then once I played MK8 I ended up playing as Rosalina. Then, When I go online, plenty others use Rosalina, Metal Mario, or just have all if the Gold Parts!

the real way to 3★ is, 1, dont fall in a pit more that once. 2, get 1st in every race.

I made it but I can't remember what you get for that...Maybe nothing.Now I haven't MK7 because my L and R Buttons doesn't work anymore,so I sold it....

I think you have to finish first in all the courses.

Hey, if you wanna do it easily just do a TON of shortcuts. like the secret one in Maka Wuhu [glitch] saves 20 secs so you basicly CAN'T lose.
