So I just made the hollowed jhen moran blademaster armor set. I pretty much exchanged the stamina recovery up from the nether set for razor sharp. Least negative critical eye is gone too. Health +50 is cool, I guess. I'll miss stamina recovery up...

    I also lose the attack up large portion from honed blade too. Was the switch worth it?

    You can get Razor Sharp together with Honed Blade. Also, Critical Eye -1 isn't a big deal since it's only a 5% decrease in affinity, so your DPS won't be affected much. Switch back to Nether.

    Gemming: Sharpness +5 talisman. 1 Razor Jewel 3, 1 Razor Jewel 1, 1 Expert Jewel 1 (to reduce Critical Eye -2 to CE -1). After that, you're all set.

    That's what I had before, except I had elemental attack up with that set; used a +5 charm. I use dual blades so I wanted the element boost at the time. And that -5% affinity for dual blades can trigger a lot more often than you might think. Nothing I can do about that though. I may still go back to that set anyway cause stamina recovery up just makes the set that much more fun.

    I know, but Attack Up Large pretty much overrides Critical Eye -1, so it's of no concern. I'm also a Dual Swords user and I never had much of a problem with the negative affinity. Probably because I rarely use Demon Dance =P

    I think you misunderstand me. Of course I use Demon mode. I'm in it 90% of the time. I just don't like to use the X + A attack called the Demon Dance. It locks you in place in order to do a rapid multi-hit combo. It's good when the monster's down, but otherwise, I just press R and go to town as I normally would using the infinite combo.

    Ah, I see. I'm the same way. I usually use demon dance when I know I have enough time to pull it off before the monster's next attack. Back on topic, would it be possible for me to get honed blade, razor sharp, stamina recovery up and elemental attack up with a mix set?

    One of my charms is actually Elemental +4 EdgeMaster +3, so I do believe it's possible. If you have a PC, look for the app Athena's Armor Set Search. It's good for creating mixed sets. Just choose the skills you want to have on a set and it'll generate all possible armor combinations for those skills. Btw, for Honed Blade, all you need is the Chest, Arms, and Waist of the Nether set with Torso Up.

    You can also substitute Torso Up for an EdgeMaster +3 charm. It can free up a few more slots in your armor. Experiment with whatever options you have available and see if you can make that dream set of yours. Also, for Element jewels, you'll need High Rank Alatreon parts. If you've beaten Alatreon before, it shouldn't be that big a deal. Otherwise, good luck.
