    you should make some goldfish bait like the above comment says. it will make it go much faster. goldfish bait is mega fishing fly and snakebee larva.

    It was part of a quest. I had bait but the only spot available had like on goldenfish in a sea of sushifin and other fish. It was a pain trying to one to bite

    you might not have been using the actual bait then. when you use the bait, ONLY goldenfosh and small golden fish show up. if you press A then you dont use the bait, you have to press Y the same as using any other item like a potion or whetstone. I had that same problem when first fishing. A good way to know if you are using the actual bait, wheh you catch a goldenfish it gets used up

    lol yeah I know how you feel. I spent a good 2 houres doing that mission, then found out it should only take about 5 minutes. I was pretty mad haha. that also works for all bait, use Arrowana bait only burst/bomb Arrowanas will show up, same for tuna and so forth. the random group will swim away and your "target" group will replace them.
