Question

Theoretically the 4pt Arken formation should work on alatreon right? Maybe if it does work as a speedrun it would be better to use pierce guns like griffons blazzooka.

    A few problems with it is that you can not use traps, he's resistant to flash bombs, and he produces the roar quite quickly when he recovers. It's doable in High Rank to stat lock him and pierce him to death but G Rank has a lot of health. May require a unique strategy w/ heroics to produce any real results. His stagger animation is fairly short also. Sleeping him, Para, and KO aren't a problem..

    I don't believe you can stun lock him either...research required...appears the time of 1 min 22 seconds was possible with LBG, 2 slime DBs, and 1 narga DB. All DB users had Heroics. The key is the explosions early on w/ the stun locking.

    Thanks for the advice! Also what is the easiest way to beat Alatreon offline? I've tried with Full jhen armor with focus, minds eye, rock steady and attack (L), and i used pyro demolisher. Took half an hour but it didn't seem like I was doing anything to it.

    That's not a terrible result. I might suggest having Bombadier if you're going to use slime (blast). Eat for Felyne Pyro. Target different areas after you've got an explosion or two, especially on a trip. Those explosions are a set 200 dmg, once you stop getting those regularly, you're losing DPS.

    Personally, I'm a fan of mixed sets but, not everyone is. If you're interested, I'd suggest Athena's A.S.S. (armor set search) You can generate sets and talisman based on the skills you want.
