    I saw a post on the internet once. It was about MH weapons. They say that each weapon may fit a certain personality/play style, so really, the best weapon is the one you love using. I'm a mixed guy. I usually use the ranged weapons (all 3 of em), but I also like using the Hunting Horn (not good at it yet). I used to be a GS and Hammer guy, but I guess my tastes have changed.

    There is no best weapon. But from my perspective i see the gs (my main) and insect glaive on mh4 as the best weapon cuz both are good all round and in any situation imo plus both have a lot of power when used right. But as i stated earlier no weapon is truly the best over any cuz its really dependent on said persons skills.

    @saisaku any wep can kill monsters that fast especially in a group. I will admit those guns have the most dps build up of any wep but they're not the most powerful damage wise imo and ya piercing eats up large monsters. If u have good enough armor skills as well as player skills at the game u can drop any monster above the average time with any wep, even more so in groups since it adds up faster.

    Sasiku* my bad, misspelled name wrong xD. The main reason y guns are considered so op is cuz of how fast the shots are fired and depending on the monster ur hunting certain shots can really chew through them. I don't use guns but i do use bows and they're very effective as well when used right so ik how great range weps are at dps.
