    Get a really good gathering set, go into the Port 1* Deserted Island Gathering Tour, bring 5 of each level of pickaxe, and stick around in Area 4, mining the ore nodes as they spawn. It'll take some patience but it's the most reliable way to get large amounts of Earth Crystals.

    Freehunt moga woods during the day. The mining spots respawn infinitely.

    Just make the leather armor S set and buy all the pickaxes. Now go to free hunt moga woods and go to area 4 and mine until you run out of pickaxes.
