So I was going to play my favorite aircraft game, and an idea hit me: What if Capcom added a device in Monster Hunters' armor suita that allowed them to fly? The mechanics could be similar to the underwater controls and physics used in mh3u, minus the water's resistance to movement, of course. I find the idea of engaging a Rathalos in midair combat appealing!

  • Maybe something that could be implemented in 5u

  • Said device could even be tweaked at the smithy shop in the same manner that bowguns are: Add something to make airborne movement more stable, or add a different item to increase airborne agility at the cost of stability... The list could go on for a while.

  • Yeah, pity Capcom still partially ignores their western customers and game fans. Ah well, maybe that will change, and my idea will be given some consideration. They did listen to the US in that MH4U is coming.

  • You would have Wind Mecanism that make it hard to fly.

  • I can already imagine a spinoff or side game based solely on chasing and fighting in the air.

  • That's where Capcom is disliked, it takes a LOT of pressure from customers to get them to listen, and I've thought of a few spin off games myself from this idea.
