my solo hunt of a GR Baleful Gigginox went absolutely terrible. so i'm rage quitting for today to play Final Fantasy XIII-2 lol i'll get back to the hunt tomorrow

    Don't let him get the best of you. Attack his lightning sac when he puts it on his back to stagger him and get some extra hits. Bring HG Earplugs or block his roar. ^^

    the quest started off really well. i was just about to get him to start limping (was planning on capping) then i get hit by his grab move...twice...in a row! fainted came back. finally hes limping. set a shock trap, he hops over bout 3x, then leaves the area to sleep. i had another trap but couldnt set it because of the other 1. so i was gonna kill it instead...then i thought why dont i stink bomb

    him back into the other area where the trap is? after i hit it with the stink bomb, the trap in the other area disappears. he goes there, i follow & find out theres a Gigginox in there. i stink the reg Giggi & cont. fighting B. Giggi. he starts limping back to his rest area. i run there before hand & set pitfall trap. he drops from the ceiling into it, quest accomplished....barely

    Here's a tip: As soon as any Gigginox enters the area he's limping to, quickly set the shock trap and soon as he's about to drop down you do the panic dive. This way you come out unscathed and he's trapped and ready for cap. The point is to trick the monster!

    well i was wearing Crimson Qurupeco armor. i comes with HI wind resistance, so im not affected by Gigginox's random flopping around. anyway i just soloed a GR S. Barioth & that went waaaay better than the last time i did. now i can upgrade my Giggi S&S & use it against B. Giggi lol
