    I'm not a fan of that hunt until I upgrade my weapons a lot, and cut the time of the hunt in half. Even then I'm not excited to do it , that areas veryl arge and creates a catch me if you can scenario. Regardless, Good hunting to you!

    I would suggest, in addition to what you have, taking Air philters/mega air philters, Barrel bomb L AND Barrel bomb L+, small bombs to set them off (though you can use your gunlance shells to set the L bombs off), bounce bombs, and dash juice or energy drinks since you can't use steaks to replenish your stamina.

    I talked to the lady at the quest counter and she said that if Ceadues reaches the ruins and I still fail the quest the damage he took will still be on him the next time I fight him...or somthing like that is that true?
