    I swear these monsters in MH3U are nothing compared to the monsters in Tri.....the barroth gave me trouble also.

    Based off the demo, plesioth. (since I played the demo weeks before the full game came out). When the game came out, I went straight online and hunted with friends, so there wasn't a monster that was too hard until event i. lagi. L. narg would be up there too. As for single player, duramboros was a long hunt, but beaten on my first try. Hi rank b. blos was challenging. Village ala...he was A PAIN!

    I agree. In Tri, barroth was hard (I got stuck on him) because he was too fast. He's nerfed in this game by comparison. For me though, the rathian in Tri was my first solo challenge. She was the one that forced me to read and memorize her moves/cues as well as reading/memorizing other monster moves.

    mine was the black dioblos it was so hard at the time on my last life and almost out of time it was the first fight i felt proud of winning of course now i can go kill them easy with my g-rank barioth armor and switch axe

    TBH, TO BE TRULY HONEST! It was the Querropeco. *sorry, spelling sux* It was only hard at first because I didn't know about the moga village quest. So at the time i was doing stuff I wasnt supposed to be doing. But once I got onto the actual story mode, it was the R.Ludroth. That thing toke me 3 months to beat. But now im stuck with this stupid P.Rathian!
