    Hopefully you don't become TOO reliant on the kelbi bow. Remember, there are other bows as well as other weapons in the game.

    As a matter of fact, I did start hunting with the Kelbi Bow, but I'm very inclined on trying others as I didn't like it too much. Any suggestions for bowguns by the way?

    Wish I could suggest one but I'm more of a HH, LS, GS, user and currently trying my hand on GL. Just seen LOTS of kelbi bow users with that set up or giggi x set up and ONLY those set ups for EVERY quest. I'm sure you can find some that fit your play style on the MH3U wikia.     Same here. I’m a SA battler first and foremost, then a LS wielder, then Lancer/GL. I already tried some other Bows but I can see the inherent benefits of using the Kelbi: it completely destroys breakable parts in minutes! Another pro is visibility, at least compared to other, more ornate Bows. The good news is I’m already comfortable enough to do G Rank quests without any problems!

    Also, as I got more proficient at evading, I started using Bowguns as well with a decent amount of success. Now I’m up to forging new sets (Narga, Gobul and Agnaktor) and see what else goes from there. Gunning showed a new layer of Monster Hunter for me. I really could play this game forever and still find something new every single time, even now at almost 1000 hours (Tri + Ultimate combined)!
