Question

ive played mhfu before this one, and i am quite adept at the game, but i have always wondered what a monsters ailment is. for example, the giginox's ailment is poison, does that mean that when i attack him with a poision wepon it will just not hurt him or will it restore his health? please help, i am quite curious and havent found anything on the internet.

    it means nothing really, even if u use poison on gigg, u can still poison him and damage him, just certain things r MORE effective

    Cloud is right, each monster have tolerances to the different ailments, once you surpass that damage you inflict the ailment
