    I could be wrong on this but I believe your guild card color has to do with your unity level, not with what rank you are. Your unity level builds by hunting with other ppl you have exchanged guild cards with. As your unity score goes up, the color will eventually change. Your unity score is on the right side of the first page of your guild card.
