    I believe the devs wanted to see how it would do on only one system, and since it will have built in online (unlike MH3U 3ds) there is no need for another version with online.

    because capcom said they wanted to focus on only one system, quality over quantity ya know? besides, they owe 3ds players for the crappy 3ds version of mh3u

    Money. 3DS users is the US installed base (the numbers are nowhere close to exact but just a demonstration of how capcom sees it): 30,000,000. Potential PAYING customers: 1,000,000. Cost to make $980,000. Wii U user base in the US: 3,000,000. Potential PAYING customers: 100,000. Cost to make: $13,580,037.48. 3DS potential profit: high. Wii U profit: not a chance.

    Want a Wii U version? Tell your friends, family members, neighbors, the internet, classmates and/or coworkers, random people in a place that sells games to buy a Wii U and either a physical and/or a digital copy of MH3U. They don't even have to play it. Just as long as capcom sees the money coming in. Then maybe they'll make Wii U versions of this underappreciated in the US franchise.
