It's funny. I realized that I have been using the term 'jem' to refer to Ufouria. I digress on that term. It is a 'Gem'. I was recently talking to my sister. She had asked if I remember the 80's cartoon Jem. Shows where my mind was. Lol.

    Lol. The Misfits were royal pains in the show. Jem was my sisters favorite 80's cartoon. She always watched it while we were getting ready for school.

    Lol! I just remember Bigfoot and the Muscle Machines being one of my favorites at the time... Jem was on either before or after it. That and Inhumanoids! What a dark cartoon for those days!!!

    I remember both of those cartoons. The Inhumanoids was pretty dark. Cartoons of today cannot hold a candle to what we grew up with. I lived for the Saturday Morning lineup. 5-6 hours of awesome entertainment. I would get up at 6 and had a large bowl of cereal and planted myself on the couch. Ahhhhhhh the memories.

    My mom wouldn't let us eat cereal in the family room. So I got up at 7am, ate my Cocoa Pebbles in the kitchen, then got to watch tv!

    My mom made sure that I used one of our aluminum tv trays. She would have slayed me if I spilled on the couch, then she would have brought me back to life, only to slay me again. Then, I would have been brought back to life again. Then I would have had to clean the mess on the couch. Lol

    I had a sudden flash in my mind of a cereal phobia. I looked up one for cereal, but there is not one, but I did find a phobia called Cibophobia which is a fear of food. I found it on a website that lists some crazy phobias.

    On the topic of old cartoons, my son wanted something to watch on youtube so I showed him the glory that was Inspector Gadget! He watched Inspector Gadget Saves Christmas and LOVED it. He's watching another episode now as we speak! #oldcartoonsaretimeless
