    @Kydrago LS may be fun while soloing, but in a team, you'll get in the way since LS has such a long reach and makes everyone stumble. I've seen LS users not slice the tail, even when there only hammers and gunners on the team.

    @Toz Its a legitimate concern. A buddy of mine and I have been duoing through the game and he's on the lance. The trick is to stay on separate sides of the monster (he runs taunt, I have sneak, so he takes most of the aggro) we do hit each-other now and then, but that'll happen with all melee weapons. You ever fought beside a switch-axe user? Brutal.

    BowGuns are OP, I use Great Swords, Switch Axes, Gun Lances, Dual Swords and both Heavy & Light Bowguns

    @Toz Having fought dozens of Nargacuga with him (I use the armor almost exclusively, high then G rank) I can say that catastrophic friendly fire is minimal. There are a few wild swings/stabs/lance charges now and then, but simply keeping an eye on your allies' position works wonders in that department.
