If done correctly, Link will not fall into the grotto as he normally would. Instead, he’ll start falling through a void that is yellowish, pinkish, or bluish, depending on the time of day. Link will have no health left but cannot die in midair. While Link is falling, go to the save screen and choose to quit (saving is optional).

5. Instead of returning to the title screen, you’ll appear somewhere else, depending on what grotto you used. Link will fall over and die. Choose to continue (again, saving is optional). 6. Once you regain control of Link, you’ll notice that the bottom screen looks like the title screen, thus making items on I or II useless. Also, pressing “Start” or “Select” to open the save screen does not work

7. Providing that you actually died and weren’t revived by a fairy, farore’s wind should be usable, despite not being in a dungeon. This is important because you’ll be able to use it without the restricted items anywhere glitch, which you can’t do, being that you don’t have access to your items screen.

8. Now for the wrong warp part… Use farore’s wind and choose to return to the farore’s wind warp point. Surprise, surprise, you get put at the beginning of dodongo’s cavern! Navigate your way to the boss room. When you enter it, you’ll get put in gohma’s boss chamber. Even more amazing, exiting gohma’s boss room will put you inside of one of the rooms in ganon’s escape tower.

Going to the open entrance on the opposite side of the room will take you to the cut scene where Ganondorf (the evil king, not ganon the beast) has just been defeated. Once you regain control of Link, the camera will go far away from him, but using an item or moving around immediately fixes this. Cast another farore’s wind warp point.

9. Kill Link by jumping into the void, getting hit by falling rocks, or using bombs. Don’t try to go into any entrances, because they won’t take you where they’re supposed to. Once Link dies (which may take a while if you have a lot of heart containers, since they all got restored as the Ganondorf cut scene), choose to save and quit. When you open up your file, everything will be ordinary, except

for the fact that you’re in the interior of ganondorf’s castle. Since this is a max % child-only file, you can do the interior of ganon’s castle. Unfortunately, you need light arrows and numerous other adult items for the exterior.

Also, you will have a farore’s wind warp point that allows you to escape the tower and fight ganon! While you need light arrow for Ganondorf (the evil king), you don’t need them for ganon (the beast) because you can just roll under his legs and attack him—no need to stun him with light arrows.

Side note: There are other setups for doing the death hole part of death hole wrong warp, but I find the jump attack one to be the easiest by far. (By the way, I did not think of it myself—I read about it.) Now, I will tell you two methods of getting the master sword equipped as a child.

Method 1: If you don’t yet have the master sword in your inventory, simply kill Link during the tower escape and choose to continue (saving is optional). Link will have the master sword equipped! Save the game; then either escape the tower and fight ganon or quit. Keep in mind that ganon still knocks the master sword away from child Link, regardless of whether you have it equipped or not.

Thus, until you get the master sword back, you will have to fight ganon with the Kokiri sword or deku sticks. (Jump attacking an enemy with a deku stick often makes only half of the deku stick break off, turning it into an unbreakable deku club.)

Method 2 (not needed for a max % child-only file): If you already have the master sword in your inventory, method 1 won’t work, so getting it equipped as a kid will take longer. You have to escape the whole tower with the Kokiri sword (a pain with those stalfos that you have to fight, but doable). You will have to fight ganon up to the point where you get the master sword back.

Just as if you were and adult, it will automatically be equipped when you touch it. It will suddenly look like the Kokiri sword when child Link takes it. Now save the game; then either quit or finish fighting ganon. When you open up your file again, you will still have the master sword equipped.

The end result is the same for both of these methods: the B button shows the master sword and the inventory shows that it’s equipped (despite being greyed out!). It will look like the Kokiri sword when Link holds it, but it is just as long and powerful as the master sword. Unless you’re wearing the Hylian shield, you will see no sheath on Link’s back and the sword will also become invisible when

you put it away. Also, saving or quitting the game will not remove this glitch. If you want to wield the Kokiri sword again, simply equip it, or travel in time (when you become a kid again, the Kokiri sword will be automatically equipped, even if it’s not in your inventory due to skipping getting it when you started the file).

Bonus fact: If you have a software where you haven’t unlocked the masterquest yet, watching all of the credits after defeating ganon as child Link will unlock the masterquest! I know because I did it myself.

End of part 6. Part 7 will be doing jabu jabu's belly and doing the well early.
