  well i use wide arc shots on flying wyverns like Rathalos or Rathain, you're sure to hit the wings with wide arc shot. i use blast arc shots on brute wyverns like Ura or Diablos to try and interupt their charging attacks. and i use focus arc shots on any monster, i use focus arc to try and stun monsters

  Don't always just use the first firing charge; pay attention to what other types a bow can do. Some might do Pierce on the first charge, Spread on the second, and Rapid on the third (some even have a fourth).Pierce and Rapid are good on smaller monsters, while Spread works better on bigger monsters.Make good use of arc shots, as well, because they exhaust the monster quicker than just shooting it.
