    Dire Miralis is far from the last monster. There's five different monsters only available in the 8* Port missions, which can only be accessed after beating Miralis. Also, personally, when it comes to Dire Miralis weapons, I recommend the Lance, Gunlance, Sword & Shield, Dual Blades, and Bow.

    Still not the last Elder Dragon. There's Hallowed Jhen Mohran, which requires defeating Dire Miralis first as part of the prerequisites. But if you exclude subspecies, then yes, Dire Miralis is the last Elder Dragon.
