    Both shields have their strengths and weaknesses. The Hylian Shield reflects seeds and rocks, and is a very reliable shield, but it can't reflect magic. The Mirror Shield swaps the reflective properties of the Hylian Shield, though it doesn't reflect Ganondorf's attacks, and what's been said regarding Like-Likes. Really, the best shield is subjective for those reasons.
