    thats not the last one the brilliant darkness(alatreon) is,also bring all healing items especially farcaster,fully upgraded G rank armor,and a raw power weapon(greatsword,hammer) or a longsword,Pyro demolisher is a good one

    mark of a hero and the brilliant darkness... monsters in those quests hit like g rank but hp is reduced to low rank, except alatreon, he hits like g, hp like high rank

    For Mark of a Hero I think the best thing you can do is take care of the Ivory Lagi, and then put yourself between the Brachy and the Rathalos. After enough beating the Brachy should kill the Rathalos meaning you will just need to take care of him! :D

    Thank you Hunters!! All great advice! I'm pretty good with a great sword. My current one hits around 1000 with white sharpness. Regarding armor.. If I have the "X" version of an armor set, is that considered "G" rank? Thanks again for the advice!!

    Basically, each armor piece has about 100 defense. I know there is better, but do I stand a chance with the defense I have?

    even though there is a brachy in the quest, slime weapons work wonders at dispatching lagi and los quite fast

    Best way is to take out the ivory as fast as you can so prep for him not the others. Then use mega dash drinks to avoid them while brachy kills the rath and get your shots in as you find safe openings to do so. Slow but easy!

    Yeah. Position is key to have the monsters annihilate each other. Don't give up! The NEXT quest took me a couple dozen tries, but that's for another post.

    Everyone here has it right. Take care of Ivory quickly and let Brachydios take care of Rathalos. I'd simply focus on Brachy while you let Rathalos roam the arena that way you kill two birds with one stone. :) As for the quest after it, you can beat Alatreon with High Rank armor quite easily if you can dodge well enough.
