    I'm pretty sure it has more to do with the differences in Copyright Laws in Japan and Copyright Laws elsewhere, rather than translation issues.

    itll come one day; there is NO doubt. Earthbound is on Wii U, Megaman is in Smash, Sting is in WWE and that Man vs Food guy is skinny. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN

    If you bother looking at the Digital Booklet that came with it, it could easily tell you what the characters mean. Nintendo just localized this game just because it has a small amount of kanji in it.

    Again, part of the problems they were having with EarthBound, for instance, was Copyright. A lot of the music is very heavily 'similar', so to say, which causes the Music Industry to get angry.

    We're certainly not saying you're wrong, Asia, but we Nintendo has never come out and statedas such. Not to mention, Earthbound was re-released pretty much as is. Regardless, I think we all agree that more imports would be appreciated

    Hm, point taken. I'm still pretty sure that that's why EarthBound took so long, and maybe why Mother 3 is also taking so long, but I can see what you mean.
