    No, it doesn't. He has the Europe version cause he lives in Spain. Vallu has the same version as Adri too and he has 45 which also probably would require the jump without tanooki switch.

    Nice! I think that makes two levels now with two platinums. Super Bell Hill is the other one (until SSR gets 34 that is) Also the fact that you didn't make the jump is some evidence that the Japan version maybe allows longer jumps. That could be how he got 42 :O did you use a different beginning strat?

    What if the CDB is slightly faster on the Japanese version??? That would suck. In my 44 run, I did the same thing as SSR777 at the beginning. I jumped on the pillar to the right and jumped all the way over to the platform connected to the wall. I didn't CDB in the little cave section though, I just kept doing rolling long jumps.

    You didn't? Doing CDB at the cave section seems like it would be much faster than rolling long jumps but it must be slower if you were slower on the last section cause you said you didn't make the jump... Also I found a new strat that's almost equal to making the jump. Land on the lower spikes and jump to the pipe as normal Peach...

    Not sure if it's faster cause I'm too bad at the part before that to be able to get there at the same time consistently, so it's hard to test... it requires stopping for about a second to give yourself another cat suit which might make it slower than just climbing the wall.

    No. It's actually about the same because he had to climb a little bit after he jumped off that pillar at the very beginning which cost him a couple of seconds.

    Oh wait, I did CDB, I did one CDB at the beginning of the cave, and then rolling long jumps for the rest, because I couldn't figure out how to keep my CDB speed throughout the entire cave part without getting hit.
