    Depends on what the monster is weak to. Slime is a good all purpose weapon.

    Slime is typically the best choice for Alatreon due to the low tolerance for slime and shifting elemental weaknesses, but Alatreon is probably the hardest monster in the game to solo in the first place.

    slime is more of a status type. the elements are water, fire, ice, thunder/lightning, and dragon. slime is good to use on alatreon because it works really well especially when trying to break horns. if you use slime you should gem bomb boost into your armor and eat for the food skill pyro. they will add to your slime and bomb attacks. alatreon can be hard but a lot of fun when doing solo! gl&gh!
