    Bows do Shot damage. The Arc Shot attack is also shot, but adds Exhaust damage and, if you hit the head, KO damage.

    Bows do shot type damage plus whatever element/status/slime you have on it. Light and heavy bowguns deal shot type damage when using physical based shots like normal, pierce, and pellet.
