Which one is best in general, poison stats or fire??

  • depends on the monster, some monsters take a lot of damage from poison (Uragaan for example) and others are weak to fire (like Royal Ludroth)

  • Like gamepsyc said it depends on the monster you're fighting i usually check previous rank armor and look at their element resist that always tells you what a monster is weakest or strongest to

  • Poison once fully applied to a monster is a continuous drain on their health for a duration. It does a fixed amount of damage and cannot bring a monster below 1HP. The exact values are unknown since no one has hacked the game to get that information but there are plenty of resources out there that give a general rating as far as what statuses a monster is weak to

  • The advantage of poison, is even if you're running around trying to heal or sharpen, if still takes damage. Fire and elements makes partbreaking easier
