    Xenoblade was never intended for an American audience. It was initially only released in Japan and Europe. Nintendo of America brought it over here due to massive fan demand. They didn't bother to update the voice acting from the UK version (it's still English, after all), which just made Xenoblade even more unique!

    I just found an interview with Adam Howden (Shulk's voice actor), and he mentioned that the voice he uses for Shulk is just a variation of his normal voice. Apparently, Shulk sounds like how Adam imagines he must have sounded when he was 19!
