Lots of Ghirahim fangirls out there... Look, Gihirahim is a well-written character, and if you have fun playing as him, then more power to you. But he is NOT a good person. He's a cruel, manipulative, overly-emotional sociopath with no redeeming features whatsoever. Yet his fans seem to think that just because he's good-looking, that he's a good person inside. (CONT.)

    I think Ghirahim is to LoZ as The Joker is to DC Universe. I haven't seen anyone take him to be a good person whatsoever, but people are still fans because he's an entertaining villain. I feel like maybe you've misread something in people's enjoyment of him, and are possibly getting worked up over nothing. I could be wrong, though.

    Zant is the better villain IMO. Desperate, power hungry, absolutely insane, and had a great boss fight. Ghirahim is always ranting on about his superiority, claiming he is an unstoppable killing machine without mercy, then he loses to Link, and though he could have just killed Link on their first or second encounter, he didn't, he allowed him to become stronger. Classic villain flaws.

    Zant's fight was soooo easy... won on first try. Now, Ghirahim... I haven't even got to his first encounter! I suck at skyward sword!

    When I say good, I didn't mean overly difficult. Ghirahim's battle is basically a test of your ability to listen, it's nice how he threatens your life, then tells you exactly what to do. The only reason you'll lose against him (and you most likely will) is not because he's a tough boss, but because the SS controls are not exactly perfect. I found it more frustrating than challenging.

    Well, he IS evil. If he wasn't, what kind of villain would he be? Plus, we don't know with 100% certainty his origins, and how his creator made him. There could be more back story to him. But it's fun fangirling over him, BECAUSE he's such great character (and smokin hawt too). What makes you think we'd condone his actions irl? He's FICTION. :/

    He talks too much, if he spent half the time fighting as he did boasting, Link would be dead at the first temple. I'll admit, Zant does that as well, that's why Ganondorf is my all time favorite villain, he knows when to talk, and he knows when to fight. He never shows mercy and never brags about his cruelty like a true, brutal villain should, he shows it in his actions that he's a monstrosity.
