1. Link riding a motorcycle instead of a horse in future Zelda games is unfitting to the series and extremely out of place. Zeldas genre is supposed to be medieval fantasy, not futuristic or modern. For example, How do you think Star Wars fans would feel if the series left the sci fi genre and became a completely different genre.

2.If Nintendo is going to change Zelda's genre this dramatically they might as well create a brand new series. Futuristic elements do not belong in the medieval inspired world of Hyrule.

3.The whole premise of the Zelda series is about a princess in a medieval inspired kingdom called Hyrule being rescued by an elf in a green tunic. Hyrule is a kingdom filled with armored knights (castle guards and darknuts), magical wizards (wizzrobes), elves (korkiri and hylians), dragons (argorok and volvagia), castles (hyrule castle), horseback riding (epona),faries (navi, great faries),

4.and orcs/goblins (bulbins, moblins). The gameplay is centered around medieval combat. Link uses a sword and shield (medieval weapons) to fight against enemies, he also uses a bow and arrow (medieval weapon) against enemies as well. He comes across items such as the ball and chain (medieval weapon) and magical wands and staffs (dominion rod, cane of pacci, ice rod, fire rod).

5.Part of the reason I love The Legend of Zelda is because of it's magical fantasy setting.It is what makes The Legend of Zelda what it is, if Nintendo is going to kill that aspect, The Legend of Zelda series will be dead.

This is a great picture, but it takes away from the mideaval fantasy aspect of LoZ, and if they want to make this version, they should keep it as a spin-off differently from the actual game.

@n555, exactly. the zelda series should stay medieval fantasy. the series main setting is the kingdom of hyrule. changing the genre will cause an identity crisis and alienate the fanbase.

Here is the deal, this is a Mario Kart game, not a LoZ game. He is driving next to Donkin Kong who also lives in a jungle and doesn't drive either. He should be riding a rihno. Mario should be on yoshi not a cart. So I dont understand what the problem is.

Mr. Aonuma if you do consider a Motercycle based on either Steampunk or Timestones in future projects, can you also implement Crossbows?

Thank you all at nintendo for embracing DLC! With great DLC the longevity of a game is greatly increased. Mario Kart 8 is one of the best kart racers in the series. When all the DLC is fleshed out I predict it to finally be the best in the series. I agree that mario kart is becoming smash kart and thats a good thing especially for the Wii U.
