Just preordered the game (with the GameCube controller and adapter) earlier today. I'm too hyped. I need to settle down.

You know, I like seeing things, but about 99% of those who are buying this game have seen the direct. Posting pics of the menus just seems...lazy. Why not show us some Smash Tour, or showcase a trophy exclusive to the Wii U version? Or even just show us some of the craziest parts of the new stages, like Wrecking Crew or the Garden of Hope?

Nothing says Super Smash Bros. WiiU like sparkly silhouettes in the background of the main menu. It wows you even minutes after it excites you having the game.

I pre-ordered my copy Sunday with Link Amiibo at Toys R Us! I can't remember the last time I was in Toys R Us, but I'm ready to play.

Oh hey, a menu we've already seen... Look, guys, I'm not complaining but this has to be like the 15th menu Sakurai has posted.

Boring!

Looks clean. Players should really be able to join up with friends online and do ANY game mode with voice chat added for improved coordination.

Very beautiful. I'm sick of 3DS's background for its Main Menu and Character Selection. Brawl's layout is much better than this game's. What I really want from Wii U's is different Result Screen music (original N64 Character Select music just didn't fit right) and Star/Screen KO's to always occur at least until the last 10 or 30 seconds if Time. Luigi/Jiggly Up/DownB KO's are no longer satisfying.

Sakurai had better compliment the design of the menu screen, considering its his wife who programs it. The well-being of his home-life depends on it.

LOL after that direct I dont feel like getting the 3ds version no more, but I am getting it for Mew-Two later on along with the 3DS LL ...I cant wait!!! :D

I don't know why everyone is clamouring for a Wii U demo, don't get me wrong I would like one too but I think Sakurai was thinking that why make a Wii U demo when you can play the 3ds version, afterall it's basically a demo.

Lovely, sure, but the layout could use some work, like not having a million modes on "Games and More", all the Vault stuff should be its own menu IMO.

Mosquito 1: Now son, don't go towards the Smash Bros main menu. Mosquito 2: But its so beautiful... You'd only get this if you've seen A Bug's Life.
