    a lot of the old rpgs did that.almost every rpg on the nes and snes. this game emulates the old experience so following team members are in it.

    I know Chrono Trigger and Earthbound have it, GregoryN4. I didn't start really RPGs until I got a Playstation, so most of my experience of the genre comes after that. Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy VIII were the games I like the follow the leader stuff. I don't remember seeing it that much, but you're right, some games did and do have that, including one of my favorite RPGs, Kingdom Hearts.

    You have a point Rift. It would be weird in a game that finally had both Bros. in the title to just have one on the screen. It's also necessary to have them together to use certain item blocks and solve puzzles. I especially like Partners in Time where the baby bros. get are carried around by Mario and Luigi. :3
