    Here's how... You will need: bombs, magic bar, and farore’s wind, deku nuts. 1. Enter Death Mountain from Kakariko Village. Use the “restricted items anywhere” glitch to cast a farore’s wind warp point. To see how to do the restricted items glitch, go to jaytheham.com, click on zeldachaos, and search for “Ocarina of Time 3DS - Use Restricted Items”.

    And see this explanation: Equip farore’s wind and something you can use—just about anything. Exit the items menu screen. Then open it up again. Switch the two items and exit the menu screen. The instant that your ordinary screen where you have control of Link appears, press the button that farore’s wind is now on. It may help to hammer it.

    If you fail to make a warp point, switch the items once more and try again. 2. Get rid of any bottled fairies you have and deplete your health enough so that one bomb can kill you. (I would suggest using the tektites on death mountain trail.)

    3. Next, equip bombs and farore’s wind on the X and Y buttons—not I or II. Now go to a grotto; the nearest one is in Kakariko Village. All you have to do to get to it is grab a cuckoo to and fly over the fence near the windmill entrance.

    4. Now you need to do the Death Hole Wrong Warp glitch. Here’s how: Set a bomb down on one side of the grotto and quickly go to the other side. Get your sword out and line yourself up with the grotto so that you are facing the middle of it. Just as the bomb explodes, jump attack into the grotto. If done correctly, Link will not fall into the grotto as he normally would.

    Instead, he’ll start falling beneath the ground. Link will have no health left but cannot die in midair. While he’s falling, go to the items screen and equip deku nuts over bombs. Then go to the save screen and choose to quit (saving is optional).

    5. Instead of returning to the title screen, you’ll appear somewhere else, depending on what grotto you used. Link will fall over and die. Choose to continue (again, saving is optional). 6. Once you regain control of Link, you’ll notice that the bottom screen looks like the title screen, thus making items on I or II useless. Also, pressing “Start” or “Select” to open the save screen does not work.

    7. Providing that you actually died and weren’t revived by a fairy, farore’s wind should be usable, despite not being in a dungeon. This is important because you’ll be able to use it without the restricted items anywhere glitch, which you can’t do, being that you don’t have access to your items screen.

    8. Use farore’s wind and choose to return to the farore’s wind warp point. Surprise, surprise, you get put…somewhere totally black?! Use a deku nut to restore visibility. You can see now that you’re at Death Mountain, but notice that the ‘sacred realm’ music is playing.

    Also, none of the entrances work – you’ll either fall into a void or get trapped if you try to use them. Once you’re finished exploring this weird place, just close the software. When you open it up again, everything will be back to normal. Death hole wrong warp does not corrupt any of your files.

(By the way, I did not think of it myself—I read about it.)
