u should make RAREWARE characters as DLCS for 3ds since u cant have them on wii U anless u guys buy the rights to have the and make young link and roy as dlc characters in a dlc pack with mewtoo called THE MELEE PACK
@Will Because after Mewtwo, there'll only be space on the roster for three more characters. Unless you want the ninja mii to be added to the Mii Fighters. Only, Ashley is already an Assist Trophy; how can they retcon that?
did u know that the ice climbers were in the beta of SSB4 but because of the 3ds's limitations they were cut and a adventure mode for the 3ds was also cut but they both have a chamce to be as dlc
If Lucas and Wolf are added back in as DLC, that should leave one more space open for a DLC Newcomer, or that arrow font that could lead to more slots. If Sakurai decides not to use the arrow font, than I hope the DLC character is either: Ridley, King K. Rool, or Isaac. I think it's more likely to be Isaac, because he's been absent throughout the entire development (unless he's a Wii U exclusive).
DLC characters that should be in SSB4 3DS and WII U, young link, roy, lucas, snake, pichu, and ice climbers. they should have an adventure mode also and DLC stages like fountain of dreams. YEAH this comment if you agree with me on at lease on of these things

I know it won't happen - because the roster is completed - but I would die for joy if a DLC with Sylux from Metroid playable will be announced in the future

Well, to answer the question in the first pic, I'd have to say Disney's Hercules can go the distance, however, he's not in this game. So the next character I'd have to choose would be Ike. I'm pretty that out of all the characters, Ike can go the distance, from all he's been through in his games.
Next, I would like to talk about Rayman. While I still don't understand why You showed Us His trophy, if He's not playable in the final version, I would love to see Rayman as DLC because You guys at Nintendo supported Rayman Legends.
@Robert people like me who buy physical won't be pursuaded at all to download even if they did that. Most physical buyers are old school & it's part of our tradition to go pick up a copy especially at midnight with a bunch of random smash fans. This happens once a generation & it's an awesome moment seeing all the smash fans, and this time we will have our 3DS on hand to battle each in line. :p
Christian that would be awesome, been hoping forever for them to get Rare back. I hate microsoft having them, they wasted the talent. Most of the old Rare members left though :(
