  • Compared to other developers who port their old titles with achievement support, bits of knowledge and art, additional content, and sometimes even complete remakes, it's a shame Nintendo can't at least add wireless support for older multiplayer games.

  • Adding wireless co-op would require changing the coding so that it recognizes that Wireless Communications is on, rather than checking if a Link Cable is in or not. I'm not sure how feasible that would be on a Game Boy game.

  • That was using Download Play and with a game that switches off controls on *one* game. Not a game that has two players playing at the same time with different screens.

  • The major difference between the NES game and the Game Boy game is that the NES games were played with two players by hooking up a second controller. You only used data from the one cartridge. Game Boy games require a separate cartridge each, thus the data would be different, thus you can't use download play easily.
