    How did I do it? Pretty simple. Tap an item so that the red selection bar is around it. Use the control stick to go over to another item, and then press B. Your item will be unselected, but it's still big-looking! You can do this with just a few of your items or even all of them, but exiting the items screen or switching any of the items restores them back to normal.
