    Actually, he still does have red eyes in this version; they just don't appear immediately. Have you noticed that Dark Link is more transparent at the beginning of the fight? As the fight goes on, he becomes more solid, has red eyes, and I believe, is more aggressive.

    And if you watch an old ocarina of time Dark Link fight video, you'll observe that his appearance change is the same as in ocarina of time 3D.
