Our family has a tradition. While our patents are cooking the food Me and my siblings watch something called the Macy's day parade. After its over we eat a big meal. At night we get all of our Christmas decorations out.

Generally, punctuality is very important in Japan. We are strictly taught to respect time since wa are children. For example, we are taught to arrive 5 minutes before meeting time.

In Japan, we have the habit to take off our shoes in house. As far as know it's been like this ever since we started wearing sandals. In addition, we can keep the floors clean during the rainy season.

Mount Fuji is considered Japan's symbol. Not only because it's the highest mountain in Japan, but also because of its distinctive beautiful feature. It was inscribed on the World Heritage list in 2013.

In Japan, it is more common to bow instead of shaking hands. We are taught to do so since childhood to show respect to others. For example, bowing is an integral part of traditional martial arts such as Kendo and Karate.

The best of my knowledge, most Japanese don't really wear kimonos these days. I think one of the reasons in that kimonos are a little complicated to wear. However, we have the chance to wear kimonos on special occasions such as weddings and festival.

There is a Japanese toilet style that is capable of washing your bottom. The seat is called a washlet. hahaha :D
