Some people treat this game like it's from 2012, but it's actually FROM 1996. Seriously guys, this game is not bad. Sure, it's not good, but it's not BAD. Level design is kinda lazy, but there's catchy music to enjoy while playing through them. Controls take some getting used to, but the sprite work is pretty impressive, even for its time.     Now, Rareware did this same thing on the 16-bit SNES, but doing it on an 8-bit HANDHELD just blows me away. Overall, this is one of those games that with every bad thing about it, there's a good thing about it. Well, mostly. Score: ★★★☆☆ 3/5 Stars (Decent)

    I used to think classic games were just really boring. I've started to really enjoy them. This and Tetris are my favourites so far. In any case, this game is cute :3

    its ok but it needs tails i mean seriously sonic & tails are the original 2 not sonic & knuckles just saying but it is very glitchy

    Honestly, I don't really like the loops in this game. I, single-handedly could make better loops with a simple level editor on a PC Flash game. I'm not kidding, I actually did. But I didn't come here to say bad things about this game, not at all.

    This game is good. People don't like this game because of it's graphics or level design. It gets challenging at the water level and the robo–level and graphics aren't everything in a game. It's 1996! It's impressive for its time. Plus, it's on a Game Gear! Not a main console.
