    I'd venture a guess that it'll take 8-9 slays. In my experience, it's been the fur that is slow to acquire, sometimes not getting any in rewards. (even after cutting off his beard and wearing gold ian armor for great luck.) The rule of thumb says you'll get 1 in rewards if you cut the beard, though, there have been times where I've gotten 4 furs, but that's rare.

    The worst part is the dragongems as you need 1 Deep Dragongem, and 2 Dark Dragongems. However, Helios Z armor is easier to make than Helios X armor. Be wary, though - Helios Z armor doesn't have as a good skills.

    Why is Hwlios Z easier if the are technically the same monster? And doesnt Goldy give the materials for Z and X? I heard Helios ZZZXZ is a good combination...

    Yeah, the Goldbeard Ceadeus gives parts for both, but you need not only G. Ceadeus parts for X, but Ceadeus, Jhen Mohran, and Lagiacrus parts...
