    Its not a bug. It looked like Mario was floating because when Mario jumps on lakitu (the guy that flys in a cloud and throws spiny koopas) he gets to ride in his cloud, you get a time limit in the cloud. When your time limit is almost up the cloud starts flashing. I paused at the exact moment of when the cloud looked as if it wasn't there. I then posted the comment with that photo.
