Impressions

Here's a good setup for slugs. Now, by no means are slugs realible, but I do fairly well with this setup. Before questioning me why, I recommend you see Drift0r's in-depth reviews on 'slugs' and 'Deadeye'. The range, even on the pump actions, are awful, but the infinite range with the possible damage increase GREATLY increases 1 and 2 shot kill ranges. I'll go over my perks and killstreaks below.v

    Unlike common thought, the circle for slugs only tells you you're using slugs, they're not the actual hipfire boxes, so steady aim helps for hip firing. Ready up helps panic hipfire, which usually works in close range. On the go is a cheap version of Sleigh of Hand, so I don't stay still while reloading. I recommend reloading after every kill. Gambler usually gives me something good, so who knows?

    I'm not running Specialist because i'm bad at maintaining streaks, so support floats my boat more. Ammo crate replaces my need for Scavenger or Fully loaded. Vests help me survive a shower of bullets if I miss or am too far away to get a OHK. MAAWS is optional, but it's a great panic weapon, takes down choppers and Juggernauts easily. But overall, run anything that you like. Bulldog is a great alt

    It's not really a 'cool' thing, much less a tryhard thing. Just my take on it. Again, watch the videos and do some testing to get a feel for the OSK and TSK ranges.
