Is it just me, or was Majora's Mask about Link in the afterlife?

  • possiably but hey its a theory a game theory

    Yeahs1
  • Link is alive in MM

    Yeahs0
  • Bahahahaha! :D You saw the video, too! But it does make SO much sense

    Yeahs0
  • it's not true, there are to many holes in the theory

    Yeahs1
  • The problem is that GameTheoriest ignores canonical facts to make his theory fit. Facts like how Ternima has always been established as a parallel world to Hyrule, not the afterlife. There are spirits in Ikana that see that Link is full of life.

  • I ask if Link is dead or not because it's so similar and so different to Ocarina of Time. Of course, it could also be a dream. I mean Skyward Sword is based with one of Link's descendants

    Yeahs0
  • Also, TP Link is descended from the Heros Shade (a.k.a OoT Link), who was a famous warrior from Hyrule. This means that after the events of MM, Link returned to Hyrule, became a hero, and at some point had offspring.

    Yeahs1
  • well maybe its true maybe its not true we may never know

    Yeahs0
  • Ternima is a parallel world to Hyrule, like the Sacred/Silent Realm, Dark World, and Lorule.

    Yeahs0
  • Hero, Ocarina of Time(1994) came before Majora's Mask(1998) so I do see that Link became the 'Hero of Time' before he went to Termina. But I see the holes in the theory, I just thought it was an interesting concept.

  • Very interesting point, NinjaZach. That makes much sense, thanks for your opinion on the matter :)

    Yeahs0
  • actually it Oot (1998), MM (2000)

    Yeahs0
  • I swear, the next time I hear a MM theory that involves Link being dead... Listen: the Hero's Shade is OoT Link. TP Link is his blood descendant. Therefore OoT Link got together with someone, so *he was not dead in MM*, he grew to be an adult.
